The alabaster heads 2007 - 2010 These alabaster heads stand about 5 to 6 ft tall
I walked into this darkened room and the alabaster heads seemed as though they were glowing I really liked the combination of textures: rough, hard, soft, bumpy it really brought the sculptures to life.
I have now began to translate my reasearch trough textiles, in my textiles sessions I have been introduced to different textile techniques that I can use. I did this fabric sample using sheering elastic it reminded me of the texture of the alabaster heads.
