"The Draped Women" 1957-8 Bronze

This sculpure by Henry Moore of the draped women caught my eye while I walked past, though it is stone the draping is really effective and can be easily mistaken for fabric.

I did a sample based on the draping  I used sheering elastic in straight lines vertically on the fabric this caused the material to gather, its a simple technique but can be very effective.
